Oneonta, died March 1, 2014, at Brookwood Medical Center, Birmingham. A member of Bible Way Church, she retired with 23 years of service at Susan Moore School, and enjoyed gardening and flowers. She is predeceased by parents Jessie Allen and Mollie Rebecca Dovers Hawkins, husband Pete Garrison, son Danny Garrison, grandson Brian Garrison, brother Ralph Hawkins, sister Rebecca Hawkins.

Surviving are daughters Linda Holmes, Oneonta, Teresa (Danny) Collins, Blountsville; sons Jerry (Peggy) Garrison, Gallant, Ronnie (Cindy) Garrison, Oneonta, Don (Ellen) Garrison, Boaz, Bobby (Melinda) Garrison, Oneonta; 27 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; brothers Gay (Nell) Hawkins, Richard (Carolyn) Hawkins, Bill (Ledy) Hawkins, all of Oneonta; sisters Edna (Archie) Kent, Snead, Kathleen (Dayl) Ward, Oneonta, Patricia (Ravinell) Kelley, Haleyville, Dorothy Horton, Oneonta, Bobbie Jean (Don) Jackson, Oneonta, Mary Bates, Haleyville, Carolyn (Bobbie) Dunn, Oneonta.

Albert Morgan, Don Cason, and Don Garrison officiated the 1 p.m. service held March 5 at Bible Way Church. Burial followed at Mt. Joy Cemetery with Adam Garrison, Chris Garrison, Josh Garrison, Corey Garrison, Justin Ragsdale, Jared Collins, Christian Rowell, Mark Moon, Calvin Salomone, and Jason Garrison serving as pallbearers. Valley Chapel of Oneonta directed.
