Honored!

On Sunday, Jan. 29, First Baptist Church of Oneonta honored Charlotte Langner for 40 years of service as pianist/organist. If you’ve been at a First Baptist service since January of 1972, you’ve undoubtedly heard her play one – or both – of the sanctuary mainstays. If you go there this week, she’s still playing. During the Sunday service, the church awarded her with a plaque, flowers, and gifts, followed by a reception during the afternoon for family and friends. A salute to Charlotte Langner for her long and continuing dedication to congregational and devotional sacred music. – Ron Gholson
