Highlights… The Panther defense held Gaston to 18 yards. Gaston ran it 21 times and got nowhere, ending the game with negative rushing yards at -28. Cleveland held them to only 46 passing. The Panther offense continued to roll with 336 total yards in game. Logan Washburn threw for two touchdowns and ran for another. Tristan Childers, Daquarrius Phillips, and Brian Sandoval each recored a rushing TD. Jacob Johnson and Pierce Gilliland were the recipients of Washburn touchdown tosses. Kyle Willis led the defense with 8 tackles and two sacks.
The Susan Moore Bulldogs got off to a quick start scoring at the 9:47 mark in the first quarter. Derek Doty ran it in from 21 yards out and Axel Silva hit the point after. But the offense struggled to get into a rhythm and couldn’t get back in the end zone. Tanner Nolen and Nick Calderon led the defense with 8 tackles each. Doty finished the game with 78 yards rushing.
