The 65th annual Blount County Fair, slated for Sept. 11 – 15, will offer five days of bright lights, exciting rides, great food, and loads of fun.

Family-owned and operated Paradise Amusements will be in charge of the midway, while vendors, individuals, and organizations will fill the Agri-Business Center with booths, merchandise, arts and crafts, and other exhibits. The schedule of events includes fabulous entertainment, special events, and children’s activities.

Each night fair goers will pay $5 for general admission with the option to purchase an unlimited ride armband for an additional $10. The arena and midway will open at 5 p.m. each day. The midway will include adult and kiddie rides; however, some rides do have height restrictions.

Fair manager/office secretary Tara Murphree said, “We strive to keep the Blount County Fair a safe, fun, and family-friendly environment with affordable prices for everyone. Come out and enjoy the rides, lights, entertainment, and food. There’s something for everyone.”
