As we search throughout the scriptures and spend time alone with God, we realize that everyone has a heart condition. Maybe not physically, but spiritually. Every heart is unique and special and requires attention.
Just like during a physical workout, our hearts need to be taken care of, too. Athletes devote time and attention to conditioning their body and the goals they want to accomplish. They purposely train. So, how are you conditioning your heart? Our hearts are a gift from God
Our hearts matter to Him! Our hearts are where we keep our treasures. A treasure is defined as something valuable hidden in a safe place or something greatly loved. In Matthew 6:21 the Bible says, “For where your treasure is, there your heart will also be.”
In our hearts, we keep many things that no one may ever know. But God does. In 1 Samuel 16:7, the scripture says, “The Lord seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the Lord looketh at the heart.”
So friend, do not neglect the condition of your heart. Realize that GOD IS the strength of your heart (Psalm 73:26).
Guard it (Psalm 4:23).
Be careful what you store in it (Luke 6:45).
Love God with all of it (Matthew 12:30).
Is there room for God in your heart?
