Hayden woman charged in child pornography case

Rebecca Diane Ilarraza, 24, of Hayden, has been taken into custody for her alleged involvement with child pornography.

She is charged with two counts of possession of child pornography and production of child pornography. As of Tuesday, Ilarraza was in the Blount County Jail with a $1 million bond, according to the Blount County District Attorney’s office.

Ilarraza was initially arrested for failure to pay warrants on bad checks, however, during the arrest, information was obtained that led to images of child porn being found, according to District Attorney Pamela Casey,

“Once this was found, a search warrant was executed and computers and phones were turned over for forensic analysis,” Casey said.

This case is possibly related to a child pornography case reported by The Sand Mountain Reporter on March 1st.

According to the report, Thadeus Michael Porter, 23, was taken into custody for second-degree marijuana possession and arrested on an outstanding Blount County warrant. During the arrest, the report states, images were found on Porter’s computer and cell phone of child pornography.

Casey says this happened at the same time and place Ilarraza was being served her warrant and the two suspects are romantically involved.

“If your children have had any contact with these individuals and you are concerned for their well-being, call my office at 625-4171,” Casey said.
