The Hayden High School fishing team won the season-ending tournament at Lake Tuscaloosa and captured the season-long series title with a come-frombehind win over Chelsea. Hayden was in second place, 24 points behind Chelsea, but rallied for the series win and defeated Chelsea by 38 points for the title. Each school collects points based on the top three boats at each regional tournament. This is the third straight year that Hayden has won the state title.
