The Oneonta Lady Redskins brushed past the D.A.R. Patriots 66-50 in the first round of state playoffs advancing to the Sweet 16. They faced the Hokes Bluff Eagles at Jacksonville State University, defeating them 56-38. They will take on the Anniston Lady Bulldogs in the Elite 8 at JSU on Wednesday, Feb. 19, at 4 p.m.

The Susan Moore Lady Bulldogs blew past the Locust Fork Lady Hornets in the first round of state playoffs 71-40, securing a spot in the Sweet 16. There they defeated the Sylvania Lady Rams 89-71. They advance now to the Elite 8 where they will take on the Pisgah Lady Eagles Wednesday, Feb. 19, at 12:30 p.m.

The Oneonta Redskin boys defeated the North Jackson Chiefs 68-40 in the first round of state playoffs advancing them to the Sweet 16. They took on the Talladega Tigers at JSU, but were unable to advance further losing 47-60.

The Southeastern Mustang boys took on the Altamont Knights in the first round of state playoffs narrowly defeating them 77-74 and advancing to the Sweet 16. They faced the Red Bay Tigers losing by a score of 55-72.
