Girl Scouts exhibit featured at museum

Members of junior Girl Scout troop #483 of Oneonta are shown at the Blount County Memorial Museum where they have placed a display entitled “Girl Scouting in the USA” as a part of their merit badge efforts. From the left are Josie Young, Jessie Rivas, Rachel Price, and Sydney Gilson. The exhibit has many vintage items donated by area women who participated in Girl Scouts over the last 50 years. “This exhibit has gotten quite a lot of attention,” said museum curator Amy Rhudy. “It’s been one of our more popular displays,” she said.
