Citizens Organize Anti-TB Association

The Blount County Anti-Tuberculosis Association was organized in Oneonta, Thursday night, October 25th, in a mass meeting of citizens from all over the county. Assisting in the organization were R.W. Lackmond, a member of the board of directors of the Jefferson County Anti-Tuberculosis Association, and Mrs. Inez S. Tuggle, the field secretary of the state association.

Dr. T.M. Towns, the county health officer, pointed out that tuberculosis kills more people in Blount County than all other contagious diseases combined.
