Taylor Brittany Ragsdale and Tyler Justin Franks were married March 7, 2009, at 6 p.m. at Mathews Manor in Springville with Bishop Rick Luman officiating. A reception followed at Grace Hall.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Ragsdale of Oneonta and the granddaughter of Dr. and Mrs. Johnny Evans of Oneonta and Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Ragsdale of Cleveland.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Mike Franks of Muscle Shoals. He is the grandson of Mildred Franks and the late Samuel O. Franks of Cypress Inn, Tenn., and the late Mr. and Mrs. Cecil N. Greenhill, formerly of Russellville.
Maid of honor was Lara Loftis of Oneonta. Matron of honor was Mamie Hill of McCalla. Bridesmaids were Alana Dickie and Brittney Aguirre, both of Oneonta, Laura Linder of Auburn, Chelsea Avery of Tuscaloosa, and Heather Dean of Mobile. Junior bridesmaid was Emily Robertson of Oneonta. Flower girls were the bride’s cousin Grace Horton of Hoover and the groom’s niece Sarah Kate Swann of Trussville. Honorary flower girl was the groom’s niece Anderson Swann of Trussville.
Best men were the groom’s father Mike Frank of Muscle Shoals and his brother Blake Franks of Malibu, Cal. Groomsmen were Gordon Sawyer of Brooklyn, N.Y., Seth Grissom of Montgomery, Thad Looser of Tuscumbia, Brad Cauthen and Chip Crowell, both of Birmingham, and Rodney Hill of McCalla. Ring bearers were the bride’s brother Beau Ragsdale of Oneonta and her cousins Caden Evans of Oneonta and Jack Horton of Hoover. The bride’s cousin Ian Evans of Oneonta was honorary ring bearer.
Sara Evans Barker and Randy Beason, soloists, provided musical selections during the ceremony.
The couple is at home in Hoover after traveling to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, for their honeymoon.
