First gym meet yields six medals



 

 


Zachary Beason proudly displays the six medals he netted in November when he participated in his first gymnastics meet. He attended the “Bama Rama” meet in Tuscaloosa where he placed 4th on the rings, 3rd on the parallel bars, and 1st in vault, pommel horse, floor, and all-around.

A 10th-grader, Zachary is a level 5 gymnast and trains at Head Over Heels gym in Hoover. He has been taking gymnastics since April and had six months of previous tumbling experience.

Zachary is the son of Randy and Deborah Beason and sibling to Elisha, Christopher, Jessica, Hope, and Faith. His grandparents are Jim and Patty Sharp, Sam Sarcinelli, and Johnny and Mableen Beason.
