This Saturday at 7 p.m.,‘Find a Better Day’, a musical written and directed by Oneonta native Kevin Roland, will premiere at Eris Horton Auditorium at Oneonta High School. Featured local talent includes Daniel Murray, Becky Arnold, Carron Clem, and Roland, of Oneonta; Dillon Dyer, of Susan Moore and Jordan Fore, of Blountsville. Oneonta native Chase Moore assisted Roland throughout the project, T.J. Frost, of Appalachian composed the music and lyrics, and the Community Arts Council produced the musical. ‘Events likes this is how the arts council brings more artists to the community and helps foster local talent,’ Roland said.‘In supporting this musical, it is strengthening the arts council so we can have more events like this in our area.’ Tickets – $10 for adults and $5 for students – are available in advance from any of the cast, arts council member, or from The Blue Door Hair Studio, or can be purchased the day of the event.
