EULA LEE FLOWERS, 84,



Oneonta, died Jan. 30, 2014, at the residence. Mrs. Flowers worked for Liberty National Life and for the Blount County Board of Registrars. She was a member of Oneonta Church of Christ, the Red Hat Society, and the Oneonta Chamber of Commerce. Husband John “Buddy” Flowers, grandsons Darryl Watkins and Steve Reed, and stepson Ed Flowers predeceased her.

Surviving are daughter Glenda Reed, Oneonta; sons Larry (Lucille) Watkins, Highland Lake, Mike Watkins, Remlap; grandchildren Dana ( Vince) Hawkins, Shane Reed, Sam Reed, Ashley Flowers; seven great-grandchildren; sisters Christine Hewitt, Remlap, Peggy Gilbert, Boaz, Delene (Charles) Reinhart, Tuscaloosa; brothers Jerry Armstrong, Joe Armstrong, both of Remlap.

Bob Swain and Joe Armstrong officiated the 2 p.m. service Feb. 2 at the Oneonta Church of Christ. Burial followed at Remlap Cemetery. Lemley Funeral Home directed.
