EDNA COPELAND HENRY, 79, Highland Lake, died March 22, 2015, at the residence. She attended World Outreach Center, enjoyed crocheting, reading her Bible, and talking on the telephone. Predeceasing her were husband Claude Harlon Henry and parents George and Gertrude Johnson Spruiell.
Surviving are daughter Sonya (Bill) Walker, Highland Lake; son Jimmy (Ginger) Copeland, Straight Mountain; grandchildren Jana Taylor, Jill Sherbet, Jason Copeland, Sharonda Coutch, Brett Forster, Kasey Helms; greatgrandchildren Dylan Salter, Shane Coutch, Evan Sherbet, Savannah Coutch, Addy Sherbet, Laney Taylor, Michael Forester; brother Charles (Diana) Spruiell, Dallas, Texas; sister Debra (Jerry) Morrow, West Jefferson.
Gary Schultz and Roy Bevis will officiate the 10 a.m. service today at Lemley Funeral Home Chapel with burial at Shanghai Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Andy Prince, Daniel Taylor, Jason Copeland, Derrick Sherbet, Kevin Coutch, and Brett Forster. The family suggests memorial donations to Laura’s Home in care of the World Outreach Center.
