Downtown Dinner kicks off Covered Bridge Festival Week

Hearty appetites and a cool evening were the highlights of Monday night’s Downtown Dinner, which served as the kickoff for Covered Bridge Festival week. With a menu featuring the culinary expertise of Limestone Springs, Woodfire Grill and Swamp Tails, the more than 125 diners on hand enjoyed fine dining and music provided by Ed Berry and Tom Prickett, all on Oneonta’s Main Street. The event, expertly organized by Blount County-Oneonta Chamber of Commerce executive director Aimee Wilson and a host of volunteers, went off without a hitch and ushers in one of the biggest weeks of the year for the county and the city.
