The Blount-Oneonta Chamber of Commerce hosts the fourth Dinner Downtown Monday, Oct. 21, at 7 p.m. The annual event shows off historic downtown Oneonta as well as culinary skills of Blount County chefs.This year’s menu features French onion soup (Miller’s Soda Shoppe), harvest salad (JW Bar & Grille), Coq Au Vin with mashed redskin potatoes (Charlie B’s), and nonnettes (Valor Catering). Before and during dinner, a selection of wine and beer is available to purchase by the glass at Grapes & Hops. After dinner, the bar in the back of JW Bar & Grille will be open.Special music will be provided by the Ed Berry Quartet.
