Crosscuts Salon and Spa open for business

A new beauty venue in Oneonta held its grand opening last week: Crosscuts Salon and Spa located on Railroad Avenue, next door to Clothing Care Cleaners, diagonally across from Klassy K-9/Sassy Kat. Owner-operator Elizabeth Alexander clamps down on the scissors, while operators Sharon Holland and Halley Feltman, standing beside her to the left, look on. Also present were Brodie Alexander, seen in the crook of his mother’s elbow, and Tyler Holland, beside him. Chamber officials, city fathers, and well wishers round out the group. Owner’s husband Barry is present, not in body, but in spirit, she said. Shop is co-ed with clipper cuts for men at $16; shampoo and sets for women, $22; cut and color for women, $52. Manicures, pedicures, other services available on request and $2 off any service for customers more than 62 years old. Appointments taken, walk-ins welcome, easy parking. Attractive design in a spacious setting. 274-0820.
