Cleveland junior football team goes undefeated in Atlanta

The Cleveland Panthers Junior Rec League football team participated in the Redzone Games invitational event at Mercedes Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Ga. The premise of these games is that teams get two minutes on offense to score as many points as they possibly can.

The Panthers played a total of four games against Fyffe (AL), Cahaba Valley (AL), and Horseshoe Bend (GA). The Panthers went 4-0, scoring a total of 77 points while only allowing seven points through all four contests.

Head coach Matt Pelt is extremely proud of his team. “These games were a great opportunity for the kids. I’m extremely proud of the hard work and dedication the kids showed throughout these games to go 4-0.”
