CLARK WAYNE CAIN, 72, Odenville, died May 30, 2021, at the residence. He was a veteran of the Army Reserve, from which he retired an E6, and was deacon, clerk, and singing chairman at Edgewood Missionary Baptist Church. He enjoyed fishing, gospel music, John Wayne westerns, and reading and was an avid Alabama fan. Predeceasing him was father Clifton Wayne Cain.
Surviving are wife of 52 years Sherry Matson Cain; mother Bessie Cain; children Michael (Karmon) Cain, Annette (Darryl) Harris, Stephen Cain, Samantha Riggs; grandchildren Emily Cain, Keith Cain, Leah Harris, Shannon Harris, Meighan Riggs, Amanda Riggs, Kyle Riggs, Tommy Riggs, Isaiah Uldrich, Krista (Matt) Whitehead, Whitney Terry, Tyler Riggs; siblings Regina (Rayburn) Hogeland, Randy (Shelia) Cain, Mark (Dawn) Cain.
Funeral service was held June 5, at 11 a.m., at Edgewood Missionary Baptist Church. Burial followed at Edgewood Cemetery, Locust Fork. Blount County/Cleveland Funeral Home directed.
