EVENTS

TURNING POINT UNITED METHODIST CHURCH will sponsor an “End of Summer Bash” on Saturday, Aug. 16, at 6:30
p.m. at Locust Fork Community Park. There will be free food,
fun, live music, and prizes.

SQUIRE PARSONS ALABAMA HOMECOMING will be
Saturday, Aug. 23, at 7 p.m. at the Cullman Civic Center,

UNION HILL BAPTIST CHURCH will feature Poet Voices in
concert on Sunday, Sept. 7, at 6 p.m.

FRIENDSHIP BAPTIST ASSOCIATION will host a Key Leader
Conference on Monday, Aug. 25, at 6 p.m. at Oneonta First
Baptist Church. Pastors, deacons, youth leaders, music leaders, Sunday school teachers, club leaders, and other volunteers are encouraged to attend. The training will focus on the
upcoming year mission work and evangelism. The meal
begins at 6 p.m., followed by the conference at 7 p.m.

SERVICES/SUPPORT GROUPS

ONEONTA FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH offers a weekly
DivorceCare program Sundays at 5:30 p.m. The program is
non-denominational and features biblical teaching that
helps one recover from separation or divorce. There is no

E STREET CHURCH OF CHRIST invites the public to bring
stress and problems to the prayer vigil held every Monday at

THE CHURCH AT ONEONTA hosts a weekly GriefShare Group
on Mondays from 6:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. The support group
is open to those grieving the death of a loved one. Phone

ANGELIC PRAYER CIRCLE for healing is every Tuesday at
Oak Meadows Community Room at 6 p.m.
