SINGINGS

MT. VIEW BAPTIST CHURCH will have an old-fashioned singing Sunday, March 1, beginning at 2 p.m. with The Turner Family as special guests. NEW EMMAUS MISSIONARY BAPTIST CHURCH will have a revival March 9-13 with services at 7 and prayer at 6:30 each night. Evangelist is Curtis Atkinson, and pastor is Wayne Allcorn. GREEN’S CHAPEL CHURCH will have its annual soup-and-salad supper Saturday, March 7, from 5 p.m. till 7 p.m. Plates will be $6 and $3, and children may have a hot dog if they prefer.

GRACE FELLOWSHIP ALLIANCE CHURCH will show the move “Fireproof” in Spanish Saturday, Feb. 28, at 7:30 p.m. The movie will be subtitled in English, and all are welcome. The church is located at 418 sixth street south (U.S. 231 south near the Jet Pep).

BLOUNTSVILLE UNITED METHODIST CHURCH men and women are offering a one-stop shopping day Saturday, March 7, at 7 a.m. The U.M. Men will serve an all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast for $7 a person from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. in the fellowship hall. The U.M. Women will host a huge yard sale outside and inside the fellowship hall from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. featuring summer and winter clothing (big and small), utensils, games, home decorations, and more. All proceeds from the two events will be used to help send the church’s mission team to the mountains of Costa Rica in June.

NECTAR BAPTIST CHURCH will show a prolife documentary tonight, Feb. 25, at 7 p.m. at the fellowship hall. Everyone is urged to attend the screening of the documentary, which church members feel will explain the changes that would occur if abortion laws were struck down. RESTORATION ASSEMBLY OF GOD COFFEE HOUSE is open every Saturday from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. Come by for a free cup of coffee and relax in a Christian environment.
