BETHLEHEM UNITED METHODIST, on Ala 79 in Dallas-Selfville, will have a church yard sale Friday, Sept. 24, and Saturday, Sept. 25, from 8 a.m. till 4 p.m. Clothes, children’s toys and clothes, baby supplies, kitchen and home decor, furniture, locks, tools – something for everyone! TRAFFORD FIRST BAPTIST will have its annual yard and bake sale Saturday, Oct. 2, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. There will be something for everyone in the yard sale. Sausage and biscuits, coffee, hot dogs, chips, drinks, goodies, and our “famous” fried apple pies will be available. Homemade cakes can be specially ordered by calling ahead. REVIVALS MT. PLEASANT BAPTIST, across from Susan Moore High School, will have revival services with Phil Winningham as speaker Sunday, Sept. 26, at 6 p.m. and Wednesday, Sept. 29, at 7 p.m. and with Sammy Gilbreath as speaker Monday, Sept. 27, at 7 p.m. and Tuesday, Sept. 28, at 7 p.m. Pastor is Bobby Hullett.

ROSA UNITED METHODIST will have revival services at 7 p.m. Sept. 26 through Sept. 28. Neil Culberson from Taylor Memorial United Methodist will be the speaker.

Planned speakers for 7 p.m. services are Don Garrison on Wednesday, Sept. 22; Radford Edwards on Thursday, Sept. 23; and Kevin Rickles on Friday, Sept. 24. Saturday services include David Weaver at 11 a.m. and Calvin Salamone for youth night at 7. Sunday speakers are Don Palmer at 10 a.m., Jim Copeland at 2 p.m., and J.J. Brothers (church pastor) at 6 p.m. NEW LIFE FELLOWSHIP on Ala 75 north in Palmerdale announces “Connection Sunday” on Oct. 3. Events of the day will include a breakfast buffet beginning at 10 a.m. in the church fellowship center followed by worship and children’s church. A bluegrass concert by the Pine Mountain Blue Grass Band will be held in the worship center at 6 p.m., followed by refreshments. The band is a popular local band that plays a variety of high energy and spiritual bluegrass selections.

Connection events will be held at 6 p.m. for youth and children. Youth in sixth- through 12th-grades are invited to get “plugged in” with a giant inflatable twister game. Children K-4 through fifthgrade can have fun at “glow nite” while parents enjoy the bluegrass concert. Nursery will be provided.
