QUAKER MEETING FOR WORSHIP AND LUNCH Curious about Quakers? Bring a covered dish and join them Sunday, Sept. 16, for worship at 11 a.m., and a potluck lunch at noon. A progressive, radically-inclusive group, they are all about simplicity, peace, integrity, community, equality, and centered living. GOD’S LITTLE CHURCH will have a benefit singing and pounding on behalf of Ed and Becky Wilson Saturday, Sept. 22, at 5:30 p.m. at the church. A pounding is gifts of canned goods, cleaning supplies, and money for household expenses. Refreshments will be served and Southern Pride Vintage Gospel and Country Music and Abiding in the Vine will be special singing guests.
