NEW LIFE FELLOWSHIP RENEWED STUDENT MINISTRIES presents HEE HAW Sunday, Feb. 26, at 5 p.m. Tickets: $8 adults and $4 ages 8 and under. Country ham, corn on the cob, peas, cornbread, homemade pie, and live entertainment by the youth. The church is located at the Blount-Jefferson county line on Ala 75.

BLOUNTSVILLE UNITED METHODIST CHURCH will have a yard sale booth at Blountsville’s trade day on Main Street, Saturday, March 3, beginning at 8 a.m. The church will also be selling barbeque plates Friday, March 16, from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. The $6 eatin or takeout plate includes barbeque, slaw, baked beans, and shamrock cupcakes.

Funds raised from both events will go towards the summer mission trip.

NEW HOME #1 MISSIONARY BAPTIST CHURCH will have a fourth-Sunday singing Feb. 26, with special guest River City Quartet. Verbon Lancaster, song chairman; Tommy Riggs, pastor.

MT. VIEW BAPTIST CHURCH will have a singing Sunday, March 4, at 1:30 p.m. with the bluegrass gospel group The Uplanders. There will be lunch after the 11 a.m. service. PINE BLUFF CHURCH, Locust Fork, will host a benefit singing for Toby Barnett to raise money for medical expenses on Saturday, Feb. 25, at 6 p.m. and will feature Three By Grace, Molly Thomas, Breanna Nix, Deirdra Rooker, and other local talent.
