CALVARY EPISCOPAL CHURCH in Oneonta will have the Blessing of the Animals service on Sunday, Oct. 8, at the 11 a.m. service. All are welcome – two-legged or four-legged.

NEW HOME #1 MISSIONARY BAPTIST CHURCH will have a missions conference today through Sunday, Oct. 8. Times are as follows: today through Friday, 7 p.m.; Saturday, meal at 5 p.m. and service at 6 p.m.; Sunday, 10 a.m. Evangelist is Stinnett Ballew.

WARRIOR RIVER BAPTIST CHURCH will have a singing on Sunday, Oct. 8, beginning at 1:30 p.m., featuring Freida Martin and her grandchildren. The church is two miles east of West End on U.S. 278, on the right.

THE CHURCH AT REMLAP will have a giant yard sale on Saturday, Oct. 14, beginning at 8 a.m. For sale will be clothes, household items, interior and exterior paint, and much more. Concessions include chili dog plates. The church is located on Remlap Drive. Proceeds will benefit youth group projects.

CORINTH BAPTIST CHURCH will celebrate Homecoming on Sunday, Oct. 15, beginning at 10:30 a.m., followed by lunch at noon, then singing led by the youth. The church is located on Skyball Mountain. Phone 625-6054 for more information.

PLEASANT VIEW MISSIONARY BAPTIST CHURCH will celebrate Homecoming on Sunday, Oct. 15, beginning at 10:30 a.m. Point of Honor will perform then lunch will be served afterwards. GOD’S LITTLE CHURCH will have a benefit singing on Saturday, Oct. 14, beginning at 10 a.m. The benefit is for Mark Herd, who needs eye surgery. Performing will be Nate Fortner, The Travelers, Heartfelt, and Pine Mountain Bluegrass. The church is located at 4977 Old Ala 75 in Allgood.

STRAIGHT MOUNTAIN MENNONITE CHURCH will have a ‘Fall Fun Day’ on Saturday, Oct. 14, from 2 p.m. until 6 p.m. There will be a lesson, music, crafts, supper, and a hayride. The activities are planned for elementary through junior high students, but all ages are welcome to participate.

The church will have revival services Sunday, Oct. 15, with worship at 11 a.m., followed by a noon meal, and evening service at 5 p.m., through Wednesday, Oct. 18, at 7 p.m., nightly. AUTUMNWOODS CHURCH at Dailey’s Chapel in Rosa has begun an eight-week small group study by Francis Chan, titled ‘You and Me Forever,’ on Wednesdays, at 6:30 p.m. A light meal will be served and childcare is available. CALVARY EPISCOPAL CHURCH has a food pantry ministry the fourth Sunday of each month, from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. Dry beans and rice will be given away on a first come, first served basis, while supplies last.

BLOUNTSVILLE UNITED METHODIST CHURCH has the Wonderful Wednesday program for kindergarten through sixth grade with a light meal at 5:30 p.m. and 6 p.m. for grades 7-12 followed by Bible studies and activities until 7:30 p.m. No Wonderful Wednesday when school is out. Bus transportation is available. Youth meets each Sunday from 6 p.m. until 7:30 p.m.

CLEVELAND CHURCH OF CHRIST offers in-depth Bible studies with pastor Stanley Ryan. Sunday, Sept. 24, will be ‘You can come to Christ.’
