GOD’S LITTLE CHURCH will have a gospel singing on Sunday, Nov. 13, at 1:30 p.m., featuring Teddy Cox, former singer with the Blackwood Brothers from Attalla. The church is located at 4977 Old Ala 75 in Allgood.

THE TOWN OF ELKMONT will feature ‘The Delmore Brothers: 90 Years of Music,’ on Saturday, Nov. 12, from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m. Tickets are $5, 12-and-under free. CALVARY EPISCOPAL CHURCH has begun a beans and rice food ministry the fourth Sunday of each month, from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. Dry beans and rice will be given away on a first come, first served basis, while supplies last. OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD will be collecting Christmas shoeboxes during the national collection week of Nov. 14-21. Local collection sites are Lester Memorial United Methodist Church in Oneonta, Crossroads Baptist Church, 801 Ala 160, in Warrior, and New Life Fellowship, 8800 Ala 75, in Pinson. BLOUNTSVILLE UNITED METHODIST CHURCH has the Wonderful Wednesday program for kindergarten through sixth grade with a light meal followed by Bible studies and activities until 7:30 p.m.

Older youth (grades 7-12) are invited for After School Hang Out on Wednesdays from 3 p.m. until 6 p.m. and a light meal at 6 p.m.

The youth meets each Sunday from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.
