Chesser wins Mini Miss Alabama

Kensie Addison Chesser of Cleveland won the crown for Mini Miss Alabama at the Little Miss Alabama pageant held in Pell City.

Chesser has competed in pageants since age 3. Her mother, Brandi Chesser, said she competed in two events at LMA including beauty and patriotic OOC and was scored on performance, beauty, confidence, and personality.

“The thing I love most about pageants is meeting new friends,” Chesser said. “I really like making new friends, being onstage, and having fun .”

Chesser said she wants to be a sports reporter when she grows up and hopes to continue pageants all the way to Mrs. America one day.

Kensie’s next big pageant will be in September in Kingsport, Tenn., for Nationals at Miss Spectacular America. We wish her luck and look forward to seeing her bring home the crown.

Kensie is the daughter of Kris and Brandi Chesser and granddaughter of Fay Carroll and Rita Chesser. She has two sisters, Alexus and Kambry. The Chessers have lived in Cleveland for the past 15 years.
