CHARLES KENNETH FLOYD, 86, Cullman, formerly of Blountsville, died Nov. 30, 2018, at Cullman Regional Medical Center. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War, 2nd Division of the Indian Head, and was a member of First Baptist Church in Cullman. Predeceasing him were parents T.G. and Omie Floyd, son Charles Timothy Floyd, and five siblings.
Surviving are wife of almost 63 years Gwendolyn Floyd; daughters Jennice (Jim Peterson) Floyd, Joan Floyd Phillips; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; three sisters.
Steve Knox officiated the 11 a.m. service held Dec. 3 at the Chapel of Blountsville Funeral Home. Burial was at South Cemetery with Grady Pate, Eddie Wood, Ken Littleton, Reese Floyd, Jeff Floyd, and Jim Peterson serving as pallbearers.
