A canoe outing has been planned for this Saturday, June 6, by the Friends of the Locust Fork River (FLFR).
The trip – which will take approximately five hours – will cover Section 6 of the Locust Fork (from county road 13 to Blalock Bridge). There will be no whitewater on this trip but basic paddling experience is suggested.
Those wishing to take the trip are asked to bring their own canoe, life jacket, water, and lunch. A limited number of extra canoes provided by FLFR will be available. The group will meet at Jack’s in Locust Fork at 9 a.m. For more information, contact Sam Howell at 205- 706-4376, 205-681-4751, or email@example.com.
