The Susan Moore Bulldogs jumped out to a 21-0 lead after one quarter and were never really threatened in a 42-0 victory over visiting J.B. Pennington last Friday night.

Susan Moore got touchdown runs of 1-yard by Preston Kent and 14 yards by Cody Alldredge sandwiched around a 14-yard pass from Brett Glass to Dylan Sloan to lead 21-0 after one quarter.

Susan Moore got on the board twice in the second quarter on a 4-yard run by Glass and a 6-yard run by Alldredge to lead 35-0 at the half.

The final points of the game came early in the third quarter when Kent scored on a 9-yard run and Nestor Hinojosa added his sixth extra point of the night.

The Susan Moore defense limited the Tigers to just 80 yards of offense.

Justin Philyaw had 19 yards to lead the Tigers while Andrew Kaplan added 18 yards on six carries.

Kaplan led the Tiger defense with nine tackles.

The Bulldog offense pounded out 303 yards rushing on 46 carries.

Kent led the Bulldogs with 87 yards and a pair of touchdowns on 10 carries while Phillip McEvoy added 83 yards on nine attempts. Ty Sissom was next with 53 yards on nine carries for an offense that had seven players rush for more than 20 yards in the game.

Glass completed 4 of 10 passing for 88 yards and a touchdown with Sloan catching two passes for 72 yards and a touchdown.

Andy Waller led the Bulldog defense with eight tackles while Jeb Snell had five. John Gober had an interception.

J.B. Pennington (0-8, 0-7 in 3A Region 6) hosts White Plains (1-7, 0-7) this week while Susan Moore (5-3, 4-3) travels to Glencoe (6-2, 5-2).
