BRANDON SETH CORNELIUS,




16, of Trussville, died Sept. 11, 2010. A student at Hewitt Trussville High School, Brandon enjoyed hunting, fishing, and riding dirt bikes and 4-wheelers. Relatives say he loved his family and was a loyal friend of those for whom he cared. He was predeceased by his mother Shannon Smith of Trussville, grandfather Preston Morrell Cornelius of Clay, and aunt Stephanie Cosby of Village Springs.

Surviving are father Bryan Cornelius of Trussville; stepmother Leslie Renee Cornelius; brothers Zachary Bryan Cornelius and Preston Blake Cornelius, both of Trussville, and Christopher Pickrell of Pell City; grandparents R.C. and Sherry Smith III of Oneonta; grandmother Lolita Oliveros of Birmingham; aunts Lisa (Jeff ) Newton and Letty Smith of Birmingham; and uncles R.C. Smith IV and Jason (Jessy) Freeze, both of Locust Fork.

Chapel services were held Thursday, Sept. 16, at 10 a.m. at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home in Trussville with burial following in Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. Officiating were Rick Hopkins of Good Samaritan Baptist Church, Center Point, and Rick Dill of First Baptist Church, Cleveland.
