BRADLEY H. ‘BRAD’ ALLDREDGE gained his heavenly wings Sept. 6, 2021. Bradley was born July 25, 1978. When he was 3 months old, God brought Brad together with Lynn and Janice to form the Alldredge family. Brad was a fighter; he fought and overcame so many challenges, chief among them leukemia. His tenacity and will to live was evident in everything he did. From his interest in playing football, when nobody thought he would be able to, to his love of cars and video games, and zest for life, Brad accomplished many things including leaving lasting memories and applied sense of humor to many situations that, to many people, showed strength. With endless love and support from his parents, friends, family, and community, Brad prospered. He was strong and resilient and we should all try our best to live up to his legacy.
Bradley is survived by his parents Lynn and Janice; the love of his life Melissa Baxley; uncles and aunts Bill and Elissa Alldredge, Jerald and Peggy Abercrombie, and Wayne and Beth Sikes; first cousins Brian and Kenton Alldredge, Todd Abercrombie, Andrea Abercrombie, Alison Heaton, Christy and Jay Sikes, and Megan Duan; second cousins Kaitlyn, Ava, Rowan, Steven, Lanier, Marsei, and Maya.
Visitation was Sept. 10, at Blountsville United Methodist Church. The funeral service was at 1 p.m. with Bro. Lloyd Gibbs and Bro. Cain Chandler officiating. Burial followed at Blountsville Cemetery with Blountsville Funeral Home directing. Pallbearers were Russell Brechin, Barry Smith, Jay Sikes, Todd Abercrombie, Brian Alldredge, and Kenton Alldredge.
