This Saturday, one of the state’s most delightful and colorful festivals kicks off right in our own backyard. And while it’s at a new place, it’s the same family with an abundance of gorgeous, brilliantly colored daylilies on full display.
At Bloom-N-Pie Days you’ll find more than flowers. There’s six yummy flavors of the Dunn’s delicious homemade fried pies, too!
The new location is just a short distance from the Dunn family’s home place. With its 1890s two-story farmhouse, the Dunns knew Vintage Gardens was the perfect location. They’ve almost finished construction on the accompanying rustic barn, which will provide an event venue in the future.
Close to 1,000 varieties of daylilies will be for sale. That’s the concept behind Bloom-N-Pie Days – more daylily varieties than you’ve ever seen in one place presented for your enjoyment at Dunn’s Daylily Garden.
So head on over to Vintage Gardens to visit, shop, and eat a pie or two between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. on June 12 or June 19. Vintage Gardens is located at 42685 State Highway 79, Blountsville.
