Cleveland High School is looking to break records during the 30th annual Anything Goes. For the past 3 years, Cleveland has been named the Anything Goes champions, and no school has ever won four years in a row, according to Sherrie Hicks, member of the Anything Goes committee.
And, for the first time, Southeastern School will join the other seven schools to participate in the event.
The competition is set for Thursday (tomorrow) at the Blount County-Oneonta Agri-Business Center with activities beginning at 7 p.m. Admission at the gate will be $7, but students can purchase a ticket for $5 at school.
Proceeds benefit the Danny B. Hicks Scholarship Foundation Fund. Sherrie, Danny’s sister, says since 2010, 55 scholarships have been given to Blount County students with every school being awarded at least two scholarships.
