ANNIE LOU REEVES, 89, Oneonta, died Feb.10, 2015, at TLC Nursing Center. She retired with 27 years of service with Blue Bell, was a member of Robin Hill Missionary Baptist Church, a member of the Oneonta Senior Center, an honorary member of the Blount County Quilters Guild, and was known as a part-time comedian. Predeceasing her were parents Tom and Nancy McQuirk Green, husband Howard Reeves, grandson Britt McNabb, brothers Herman Green, Junior Green, Jim Green, and Harold Green, and son-in-law Jack McNabb.
Surviving are daughters Shirley McNabb, Hanceville, Kathy (Michael) Loyd, Berry Mountain; sons Stearlin (Fern) Reeves, Huntsville, Tom (Becky) Reeves, Straight Mountain, Allen (Judy) Reeves, Nashville, Michael (Linda) Reeves, Oneonta; 15 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; sister Audrey Reeves, Oneonta; brothers Marvin (Evelyn) Green, Madison, Garvin (Wilda) Green, Oneonta; sisters-in-law Sue Green, Birmingham, Gracie Green, Gadsden, Wilma Green, Oneonta.
Jimmy Reeves and Garland Terry officiated the 11 a.m. service held Feb. 13 at Lemley Funeral Home Chapel. Burial was at Hopewell Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery with Chandler Reeves, Nathan Loyd, Tommy Holt, Frankie Green, Mark Burrow, Matt Bartlett, Craig Reeves, and Jay Reeves serving as pallbearers. The family requests memorial donations to the Oneonta Senior Center.
