Oneonta, died Oct. 10, 2013, at St. Vincent’s Blount Hospital. A junior at Oneonta High School, she was a member of the Spanish Club and the girl’s varsity soccer team. Her dream was to become a police investigator and make a difference in her community. She attended Cornerstone Church. Predeceasing her were father Panfilo Vazquez Hernandez and brother Juan Pablo Vazquez.
Surviving are mother Jova Vazquez; sister Yecenia (Rafael Alvarado) Vazquez, Allgood; brothers Neri (Margarita) Vazquez, Cesar (Alma D.) Vazquez, and Luis Eduardo Vazquez, all of Oneonta, Isai (Marybelle) Vazquez, Allgood.
Lionel Alvarado officiated the 2 p.m. service held Oct. 14 at Oneonta First Baptist Church with burial at Oak Hill Cemetery. Lemley Funeral Home directed.
