AHSAA honors two schools from county

As part of last week’s All-Star Sports Week, the Alabama High School Athletic Association (AHSAA) honored 103 high schools for completing the 2008-2009 school year with no fines or ejections for athletes, coaches, or fans.

Two of the school’s honored were from Blount County. Cleveland High School was honored for the second year in a row while Oneonta made the list for the first time.

Each of the 103 schools that were honored received banners to display.
