Murphee selected

Wiley Murphee from Southeastern School has been selected to participate in a prestigious National Endowment for the Humanities Summer Workshop for Teachers, “Labor and Landscape: Lowell as Nineteenth-Century Crucible.” Murphee will join more than 30 other educators from dozens of different states in an intensive, week-long virtual workshop hosted by the Tsongas Industrial History Center at Lowell Historical Park in Lowell, Mass.

UA honors

A total of 11,813 students were named to the President’s and Dean’s Lists for the Spring 2021 term at The University of Alabama. Full-time undergraduate students must earn a 4.0 GPA to qualify for the President’s List and at least a 3.5 GPA to qualify for the Dean’s List. Among them were:
