DARBY HAMM of Blountsville participated in The University of Alabama’s Cooperative Education Program for fall 2020. Hamm worked for Fluid Engineering, Inc. In the program, students alternate periods of full-time study with periods of full-time employment.

LAUREN MCHAN of Blountsville graduated from University of the Cumberlands during commencement exercises this spring. McHan earned at Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Arts.

MORGAN THOMAS of Cleveland was named a Perry Award recipient at Mississippi College. The academic awards recognize scholastic achievement of not more than seven seniors per year at the college. Nominees must have at least a 3.5 GPA and exhibit qualities of leadership, citizenship, creative ability, and moral character as well as academic excellence.

TROY UNIVERSITY Eliya Knight of Oneonta and Megan Gibbs-Autwell of Blountsville completed the university’s Office of Career Services Career Ready program. Students who take part must complete two of three options (Resume Review, attend a career fair, or complete a mock interview.)
