LOUNETTE BEAVERS

LOUNETTE BEAVERS, 83 of Blountsville passed away Monday, June 3, 2024, at her resi-dence. Lounette was born June 30, 1940, in Blountsville the daughter of Ralph Ermond Posey and Danie Mae Blackwood Posey. She was a graduate of J.B. Pennington High School and married Wilburn Beavers on April 13, 1963. She was a member of Austin Creek Missionary Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Wilburn Beavers; son: Brent Beavers; grand-children: Whitney (Mitchell) Swann and Dalton Beavers; host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings and son, Brian Beavers.

Funeral Service were 1 p.m. Thursday, June 6, 2024, at Austin Creek Missionary Baptist Church with Reverend Dustin Smith officiating. The burial was in Austin Creek Cemetery, Blountsville Funer-al Home directing. Visitation was from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Wednesday at Blountsville Funeral Home. She will also lie in state at the Church on Thursday from 12 p.m. until service time at p.m.

Pallbearers: Mitchell Swann, Dalton Beavers, Shane Posey, Ted Moorehouse, Mickey Taylor and Mark Taylor. Honorary will be: Randy Bowerman, Jimmy McHan, Lareid Shelton and Larry Tolbert.
