Clara Joy Moorer Adamson Bell

Clara Joy Moorer Adamson Bell went to 
Heaven peacefully on May 19, 2026, at age 95. She was born Nov. 2, 1930, grew up in Cleveland, and lived all her adult life in Birmingham. She was a long-time member of Lakewood Baptist Church.

She is survived by her daughter Dianne Adamson Walters (Tom); her brother Conrad Moorer (Delene); four grandchildren; several great- and great-great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased in death by her parents Myrtle and Lonnie Moorer; her husband Marvin H. Adamson; her son Daniel Adamson; and two sisters, Sara Gann and Patsy Clements. She was also predeceased by husbands Milton Carter and Ronald Bell.

A graveside service was held at noon May 22, 2026, at Jefferson Memorial Gardens in Trussville.
