William Claude Bul-
lard, 76, of Blountsville
passed away Wednes-
day April 8, 2026, at his
residence. Claude was
born Oct. 11, 1949, in
Cleveland, the son of Wil-
liam Ezbon Bullard and
Florene McLain Bullard.
He was a 1967 graduate
of J.B. Pennington High
School.
On May 5, 1973, he
married Sharon Green. Claude was a man of many
talents, hobbies, and interests. He had a long career
as a tool and die maker and after retirement worked
about nine years as custodian at J.B. Pennington High
School. He was a member of Oak Grove Community
Church.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Sharon
Bullard; children William Joshua (Natalie) Bullard,
John Michael (Amanda) Bullard, and Moriah Green;
grandchildren Albany Bullard, Austin Bullard, Olivia
Bullard, Addison Bullard, Amelia “Millie” Bullard,
and Bridger Bullard; sisters Rena Cagle, Alene Bull-
ard, and Patricia (Larry) Ayers; parents-in-law John
Bobby and Wadeene Green; sisters-in-law Bobbie
Holaway and Debbie (Michael) Bagwell; along with a
host of nieces, nephews, and other loved ones.
Funeral service was Saturday, April 11, 2026, at 2
p.m. at Blountsville Funeral Home with Tyler Cantrell
and Michael Murphree officiating. Burial followed in
Oak Grove Cemetery. Visitation was from noon to 2
p.m. Saturday at Blountsville Funeral Home.
Serving as pallbearers were Charles Bullock,
Christopher Holaway, Colton Bagwell, John Bagwell,
Dustin Denney and Morris Britt. Honorary pallbear-
ers werw Michael Bagwell and Terry Sterling.
