Mary Sue Hamm
Mary Sue Hamm, 92, of Blountsville, passed
away Monday, Feb. 23, 2026, at her residence.
She was born July 12, 1933, in Blount County,
the daughter of Alexander Bullard and Cynthia
Pearl Robertson Bullard. She was married to
Ezra Hamm, who passed away Jan. 29, 2012.
She was also preceded in death by her parents
Alexander and Cynthia Pearl Bullard; son Milo
Hamm; brothers Stanley Bullard, Aub Bullard,
Idus Bullard, and Billy Bullard; sister Mavis
Timmerman; and son in law Eddie Lee Forster.
Mrs. Hamm was a long-time member of
Mountain Grove Missionary Baptist Church.
Survivors include son Eddie Michael (Glenda)
Forster; daughters Vickie Forster, Marlene
(Boyce) Foust, Barbara (Billy) McDaniel, and
Rebecca (Garry) Kanaday; daughter-in-law Blanch
“Boots” Hamm; host of grandchildren, great-
grandchildren, great- great-grandchildren; and
other family and friends.
Funeral service was Friday, Feb. 27, 2026, at 11
a.m. at Mountain Grove Missionary Baptist Church
with Dustin Smith and Jerry Hackney officiating.
Burial was in South Cemetery with Blountsville
Funeral Home directing. Pallbearers were Eddie
Michael Forster, Brandon Forster, Jordan Forster,
Dale Hamm, Garry Kanaday, and David Gargus.
