John David Love,

John David Love, age 76, of Locust Fork, passed away Feb. 14, 2026. He retired from United Testing Service, Inc. as a Senior NDE Tech. He had many hobbies, including watching Alabama football, wood working, rock masonry, gardening, auto racing, and spending time with grandchildren. He was also a mason with the Locust Fork Chapter. 

He was preceded in death by parents Sanford and Lorene Nix Love; brothers Danny Love and Frankie Love; sister Debbie Longshore. 

He is survived by his wife Janice Ruth Love; son David Brian Love (Kristi); daughter Jania Sheree Auston (LaGrant); sister Sandra Newman; brothers Tommy Love (Cynthia) and Eddie Love; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other beloved family and friends. 

The family received friends Wednesday, Feb. 18, 2026, at Pine Bluff Missionary Baptist Church from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m.. A funeral service was held at the church beginning at 1 p.m. with Daryl Holt presiding. Burial followed in High Rock Cemetery.
