Rebecca Williamson

Rebecca Williamson, 76, of Altoona, passed away

Jan. 9, 2026. She was a faithful member of Robin
Hill Baptist Church. She will be remembered for her
compassion, kindness, and her willingness to always
lend a hand whenever she could. Her favorite things
to do were attending church and spending as much
time as possible with her family and friends. Prede-
ceasing her in death were her husband of 53 years
Harold Williamson, parents J.D. and Doris Wilson,
and in-laws William Williamson and Opal William-
son Wilson.
She is survived by her four children Keith
(Theresa) Williamson, Kenneth Williamson, Kevin
(Linda) Williamson, and Kathy (Mark) Lacks; nine
grandchildren Amanda Martinez, Alan (Mary) Moody,
Nikki Copeland, Sadie (Matthew) Hahn, Kayla (Tom-
my) Harless, Chelsea (Eric) Weston, Amber (Nate)
Kennedy, Dylan Lacks, and Brandon Willimason; 17
great-grandchildren; sisters Esther Wilson and Deb-
orah (David) Galloway; sisters-in-law Shirley (Larry)
Hudgins, Janice (Junior) Wortham; nieces Tammy
(Jonathan) Woods, Beth (Shane) Bryson, and Mandy
(Mitchell) Cornelius, and nephew Steven Galloway.
The family received friends Sunday, Jan. 11,
2026, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Lemley Funeral Home.
The Funeral was held Monday, Jan. 12, 2026, at 11
a.m. at Robin Hill Baptist Church with Justin Smith
and Jeff Lybrand officiating. She lay in state at the
church from 10 a.m. until service time. Burial was in
the adjoining cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers were Kim Cardwell, Danny
Gilliland, Fred Harvey, David Jackson, Chuck Lacks,
and Colton Whittington. Honorary pallbearers were
Phil Adamson, Shane Bryson, and Mitchell Cornelius.
