Jonathan Dwight Myers,

age 79, of Oneonta, passed
away Nov. 22, 2025. He worked
for McPherson Oil for many
years and retired from Liberty
National Life. He loved golf, his
family, animals, and Alabama
football. He was a wonderful
father and friend, and he never
met a stranger.
He is preceded in death by
his wife Catherine N. Myers; parents Irven F. and Lydia
I. Myers; and brothers Ronnie Myers and Mace Myers.
He is survived by his daughter Christy Myers (Zack
Enos) and nephew Mike Myers (Hilda Box).
The family received friends on Wednesday, Nov.
26, 2025, at Lemley Funeral Home from 10 to 11 a.m. A
funeral service was held in the chapel beginning at 11
a.m. with Gary Thrasher presiding. Burial followed in
Oak Hill Cemetery.
