was born in Blountsville April

17, 1929, to Cullen Montrose

Doyle and Rhoda Gertrude

Posey Doyle.

She attended J.B. Penning-

ton High School, was married,

and had two children (Diane

and Kenneth) by the age of 19.

After the end of her first marriage, she married William

Gerald Green on Jan. 12, 1959. Together they welcomed

her third child (Tammy) before moving to Clayton, Ala.

No stranger to elbow grease, her employment

stretched across many fields; including jobs at a

garment factory, Spring Gardens Retirement Commu-

nity, the family-owned restaurant. Her last place of

employment was Headquarters, a hair salon owned by

her daughter Diane, retiring March 12, 2020, at nearly

91 years of age. She was a member of the Blountsville

Methodist Church, but also attended Centercrest Baptist

church as well.

Helen is survived by daughters Diane Gibbs (Ben)

and Tammy Henderson (Dennis); her son Kenneth

Osborn (Linda); her brother Danny Doyle; her grandchil-

dren Eddie Green, Brandon Osborn, Beth Renda, Golden

Osborn (Leigh), Ry Osborn (Carrie), Britta Kiesler (Bri-

an); 16 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grand-

children. Helen is preceded in death by her parents

Cullen and Rhoda Doyle; son Carroll Green; and her

brothers Bill Doyle and Grady Doyle.

Funeral Service was 1 p.m. Friday, Nov. 21, 2025, at

Blountsville Funeral Home with Paul Brasher officiat-

ing. Burial was in Blountsville Cemetery with Blounts-

ville Funeral Home Directing. Visitation was noon to 1

p.m. Friday at Blountsville Funeral Home.

Pallbearers were Golden Osborn, Ry Osborn,

Braydon Osborn, Christopher Renda, Eddie Green and

Stoney Osborn.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the

Arthritis Foundation.
