Kimberly Dawn Hackney

Kimberly Dawn Hackney, 49, of Blountsville, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 11, 2025, at her residence. Kim was born Jan. 11, 1976, in Birmingham, the daughter of Jerry Hackney and Beverly Camp Hackney. She was a graduate of J.B. Pennington High School and a member of Mountain Grove Missionary Baptist Church. 
She is survived by her son Jacob Cook; parents Jerry and Beverly Hackney; brother Jeff Hackney; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, her church family, and friends. 

Funeral Service was 2 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 13, 2025, at Mountain Grove Missionary Baptist Church with Dustin Smith and Greg Stone officiating. Burial was in Rock Springs Cemetery with Blountsville Funeral Home directing. Visitation was noon to 2 p.m. Thursday at Mountain Grove Missionary Baptist Church.
