Cole Michael Sims
December 09, 2025
Cole Michael Sims, born
Feb. 10, 2005, left this earth
for his heavenly home on
Oct. 25, 2025.
Cole was a shining light
in the lives of all who had
the privilege of knowing
him. His journey on this
earth was one marked by
love, compassion, and his
faith in God. His passing
has left a void in the hearts
of his family, and his many,
many friends. We ask that
you remember him for his
kindness, his generous nature, adventurous spirit, and
the profound impact he had on the lives of those who
had the pleasure of knowing him.
Cole was a talented athlete who made life long
friends from his early days playing baseball, from tee
ball through his senior year at Hayden High School. He
excelled as a basketball player, and enjoyed playing for
his school, as well as with friends and cousins. A natural
athlete, he also appreciated spending time on the golf
course or at the bowling alley with friends.
Cole loved being out exploring God’s world. He spent
many hours fishing with his dad and grandfathers in
every stream, pond, river, lake, or ocean. He never met
an outdoor adventure he didn’t want to experience,
whether he was skim boarding in the surf, camping out
in the woods with friends, or just working on his truck,
he was passionate about whatever he was doing -always
enjoying life with friends and family.
Cole is survived by his loving parents, Kevin and
Robbie, and adored little sister Madison. Cole was the
cherished grandson of Linda Sims, Dennis and Diane
McDonald. He also leaves behind aunts and uncles who
adored him dearly. Among them are Kirby (Victoria)
Sims, Buddy Livingston, Stefani (Chris) Cull, Crystal
(Kevin) Brown, Jeremy (Lisa) McDonald, Deanna (Don-
nie) Collier, Jake (Leslie) McDonald, and God-parents,
Casie (Jeffery) Ingle. Cole grew up surrounded by love
from cousins Chase (Brittany) and Sommer Sims, Lance
(Marianna) Livingston, Elizabeth and Ethan Cull, and
Evan and Camryn Brown, who shared in his joyful spir-
it. He was predeceased by his beloved grandad, Gary
Sims, and beloved granddaddy Bill Hohman.
After his graduation from Hayden High School, Cole
embarked on a career as a transformer technician with
Aubrey Silvey Enterprises. Cole was able to travel the
country for his job, and see even more of this coun-
try's wonderful outdoor spaces. Those who knew Cole
will remember him for his easy smile and infectious
laughter, his deep-rooted faith in Jesus, and his unwav-
ering commitment to spreading love and kindness to
everyone he encountered. He had a rare gift for making
others smile and laugh, leaving a lasting impact on all
who crossed his path.
Visitation is from 5-7 p.m. today, Wednesday, Oct.
29, 2025 at Blount Springs Baptist Church (8770 US
Highway 31, Hayden). Funeral service will be at 11a.m.
Thursday, Oct. 30, at Blount Springs Baptist Church.
